Euroconsumers BeXt Awards

Euroconsumers decided to create an award to recognize the brands that contributed in a relevant way to its mission to improve the market.

We will release the award based on our rigorous approach which comes from our expert reviews and the experience that consumers share with us. These two concepts eXpertise and eXperience inspired the name of the award “BeXt”, that intends to join these elements with the excellence that the sound “Best” recall. We analyzed the expert reviews of the last two years on 2.000 products and the feedback of consumers (over 90.000 experiences) to identify which are the brands that reached an outstanding performance in matching consumer expectations. The result of this analysis allowed us to identify 5 Awards:

Euroconsumers BeXt award for quality in hi-tech

These two awards, based on quality, are attributed to the brands which obtained the highest percentage of products scored as Top Quality in the Euroconsumers comparative tests. This year we grant a quality award in laundry appliances (washing machines and tumble driers) for big household appliances and the quality in mobile devices (smartphone and tablet) for Hi-tech products.

Euroconsumers BeXt award for eco-friendly big household appliances

This award is attributed to the brand which has a low consumption of resources, meaning water and electricity, ensuring average or good performance in Euroconsumers comparative test. This year we considered the 4 big household appliances (washing machines, tumble driers, dishwashers and cold appliances) to identify the winner.

Euroconsumers BeXt award for reliability in big household appliances

This award is attributed to the brand which has the best appreciation in our consumer satisfaction survey. Also, in this case we considered this year the 4 big household appliances (washing machines, tumble driers, dishwashers and cold appliances) to identify the winner.

Euroconsumers BeXt award for quality for money in hi-tech

Finally, this award is attributed to the brand which is the more efficient being able to provide, in average, the highest quality for a given price. This year we analyzed the expert reviews of 300 products among mobile phone and tablets to identify the one that is to able provide the best quality for money.

The Euroconsumers BeXt Awards will be delivered during the 2019 Euroconsumers International Forum on November 12 in Brussels. The shortlisted companies will be announced one week before at the Web Summit in Lisbon.
