Day 5: Fair Digital Finance Forum

Italy – 18 March 2022 – On the fifth and final day of the Fair Digital Finance Forum (a week of events to mark World Consumer Rights Day) Euroconsumers’ Italian member Altroconsumo is discussing the importance of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors in sustainable finance.

Throughout the day Altroconsumso will focus on the role of financial advisors in the process of shifting to sustainable investment. Are they ready for it?

Sustainable finance refers to the process of taking environmental, social and governance (ESG) considerations into account when making financial decisions. It is crucial to the green transition, and for a better, more sustainable world, that the financial sector moves to investments that foster long term sustainability, over short term profit.
