Euroconsumers Forum 2024

About the event
Empower People, Improve the Market | Going into Action!
Get ready for the 6th annual Euroconsumers International Forum (EC Forum)! This is where the big conversations about European and global consumption and market trends happen. We’ve previously gathered in Brussels, Lisbon, Rome, and even virtually across Belgium, Italy, Spain, Portugal, and Brazil, connecting with Argentina, Uruguay, and Paraguay.
The EC Forum is all about driving strategic initiatives for governments, companies, and consumer organizations in Europe and beyond. Picture a room full of policymakers, global business leaders, consumer advocates, academics, and superstar speakers. Past forums have featured luminaries like Prof. Jeffrey Sachs, European Commissioner Didier Reynders, Alec Ross, Carlo Ratti, and political heavyweights like Romano Prodi and Herman van Rompuy.
Mark your calendars for December 5th in the beautiful city of Brussels! Last year’s edition was defined by the launch of Euroconsumers’ new brand signature and manifesto ‘Empower people, improve the market’. This year’s Euroconsumers Forum will demonstrate our clear commitment to translate this mission and vision into concrete initiatives : Empower people, improve the market – going into action!
We’ll be diving into hot topics like Frauds and Scams, Children and Young Adults on the Internet, Circular Economy, issues close to our Belgian members’ hearts, and the future of the European Union. Expect top-notch speakers, engaging discussions and workshops, and the much-anticipated BeXt Awards 2024.
BeXt Awards 2024
The BeXt Awards are back! Launched in 2019, these awards honor brands that tackle the triple challenges of climate, quality, and value. Based on the results of Euroconsumers’ independent comparative tests and surveys, we will again put a spotlight on those brands that have been improving the market. Last year, we celebrated champions like Miele, Sony, Ecover, Samsung, Michelin, Sodalis, and AEG. Tune in to see who will take home the BeXt awards this year.
Celebrating Belgium’s Comic Tradition
And let’s not forget the fun part! Belgium’s comic heritage will take center stage. From Hergé’s The Adventures of Tintin to modern comic geniuses, we’re honoring the 9th Art. Prominent comic publications and artists will be adding a vibrant, cultural twist to our event.
Join us for a day of impactful discussions, prestigious awards, and a celebration of Belgian artistry at the Euroconsumers Forum 2024!
